About Poetry Is Dead

Poetry Is Dead Magazine Society is an organization run by a group of committed writers and patrons of the art.

The magazine closed with the 20th Issue, it was a bi-annual publication guest-edited by poets across Canada and managed by poets Daniel Zomparelli, Dina Del Bucchia and Ben Rawluk.

Can't Lit is the podcast that bloomed from the magazine. Dina Del Bucchia and Jen Sookfong Lee interview, discuss and debate everything that makes up Canadian Literature. Each episode includes a special guest from the writing community, and regular segments about literature and well ... a lot of other "stuff."

After You is a collaborative poetry project that attempts to connect poets around the world through the act of poetry itself. Created by Daniel Zomparelli and co-edited by andrea bennett.

Daniel Zomparelli is the founder of Poetry Is Dead magazine. His books are Davie Street Translation, Rom Com (co-authored with Dina Del Bucchia from Talonbooks), and Everything Is Awful and You're a Terrible Person (Arsenal Pulp Press).
